there is somebody in my life that needs to be recognized
i do not do this nearly as often as i need to
but here it goes
you are not afraid to say what's on your mind regardless of how it is taken or understood

you are passionate and caring
living for family is something that people need to take into account
and you do
you're brilliant and you don't know it
one day you're going to help me change the world
and we're going to do it, too
there is more to you than meets the eye
and i'm fine with learning a little something every day
you're right when you say that people come into your lives for a reason
why they leave, i have yet to understand
but i know for sure that you are in my life for more reasons than i know right now
and you have helped me more than you will ever know
and i can not begin to thank you enough for it
